Yup yup yup! Happy 17th Birthday to Aziz and Merl Marian! =D
(No, it's not that both their birthdays fall on today, but that their birthdays are so close so we celebrated together! =D)
Why are the candles not lit? Cause no one brought a lighter nor matchsticks! Hahahaha!
Cut the cake...
MAD RUSH!
Hahaha. First CG Photo! Missing a few people, but it's a cool start! =D
Well well, another Youth Outing. This time, at Springfield Secondary School, where one of my church members work at. Thank God that we were able to get the place!
Too lazy to talk, photos... =P
Yeah, there were some adults. Cause the GCM (Gethsemane Children's Ministry) had initially planned to go to Bedok Reservoir Park, but since it rained they came over to the school as well.
I'm too lazy to type out much... So less talk, straight to the photos. =P

*I was too hungry. Didn't bothered to snap any photos after that ><
And Joash =D
WOW, they have a bronze statue of Gundam at the Kamiigusa train station!! I wanna go there and take a look at it myself!!
Now this is what I call a true masterpiece! If I could make models just like this... *disappears off into dreamland... (literally since it's like past 12 midnight...)*
*No, I did not go to Japan to snap 3 pictures of a bronze statue. I just grabbed them off Japanese websites.
==========
On a side note, I have already built my HG Graham's Union Flag (just snap fitted since I have no time to paint) and HG Providence (also snap fitted only). Will post pictures when I have taken pictures of them... And I bought GN Arms and Gundam Exia (Trans Am System)!!!! It cost me S$91.10. Now I'm really broke T_T (Thankfully I don't have any other model in mind at the moment. *Whew!*)
AND I'M DONE WITH MY STUPID PROJECT WORK "PRELIMINARY IDEA"!!! WOOT!!!
(Ok, I'm a bit high now. Time to get my beauty sleep.)
I'm back. At long last.... Well, I went to Comics Connection at White Sands yesterday and guess what? Discount on Gunpla! WOOT! I mean I still have 4 unbuilt Gunpla models but a discount is rare =P
I bought these guys at $20 each. I save about $10 on both. =P
I bought this one at $15, saving me around $8~9...
So, all in all, I saved close to $30. =P And that brings my total unbuilt gunpla count to 7... Yes, I have yet to build my Graham's Union Flag... zzz....

Anyways, time to say something nonsensical:
My thoughts soared up
Into the desolate night sky and shattered -
Like falling glass,
It pierces my heart.
THIS HAS UTTERLY NO LINK WITH MODELING KITS...
Another year has passed, and the Gethsemane Youth Bible Hour is another year older by the grace of God. Indeed, it is by God's grace that the Youth ministry has grown.
Pastor was the speaker, and he spoke on "Remembering God's goodness in our lives" and preached from Psalm 20. A timely reminder for me as I start on my 'new life' in TJC, that God must be our center of thought.
Presentations! Thank God for the songs that were sung; some of them served as an encouragement to me.
Group Photos - Formal and Candid shots.
CAKE anyone? =D (We are not 5 years old. Just that we only placed 5 candles... ><)
Happy Birth Anniversary to GYBH!
Happy Birthday Boon Siang! (Just joking =P)
Singing I go, along life's road~ =D
---------------
More pictures, from Sharon.
Pictures of the stuff I'm planning to do:
Psycho Gundam
Red Astray
Graham's Union Flag (Already in process)
Gundam Exia
Will there be more stuff to come? Depends, see if I like the model or not. HAHAHA.
I was looking through my old model kits, and boy, I was a terrible modeler in the past. I mean my HG Strike Gundam (my very first model) was REALLY PATHETIC. There were spruces everywhere, and the seams were very obvious. Ok, maybe they weren't seams but GAPS in between the models. This shows how lousy I was in the past.
Now, it's time for me to make up for my mistakes. REPAIRING THE STRIKE. That will take a while; but my Aile Strike Gundam will no longer be Aile Strike, but I'm planning to upgrade it with spare parts I find around.
Why edit the Strike Gundam?
Well, the Strike is a multi-functional Unit. I loved the Sword Strike, but it needed more weapons. So when Gundam 00 came out, Gundam Exia made me want to edit the Strike. Since I had spare parts lying around, I decided to scratch build certain stuff for the Strike to customize it.
Brief overview of the Strike's overhaul:
- GN Sword addition for right arm. (I have 2 Exias, one of which was converted to Astrea. So i'm using the GN Sword from that one.)
- GN Dagger for left arm. (Same reason as above)
- Addition of "Flight Unit" for the legs using 1/144 NG Justice's backpack.
- Possible backpacks in my mind: (i)Launcher Strike (no change) or (ii)Movable Shield
- Other possible armaments: (i)Sword from Sword Strike; (ii)Dual saber fang; (iii)Others
And my Graham's custom Flag parts which I have cut out, sanded, filed:
I hope to get Graham's Flag done ASAP. Then I'll most probably move on to editing Strike Gundam.
Other stuff which I plan to build:
- 1/144 HG Psycho Gundam (This will take a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG while. It's BIG, real BIG)
- 1/100 NG Red Astray
- 1/144 HG Gundam Exia (My second Exia which I haven't started on.)
Well, this update is basically just some slight repainting.
Repainted the beam saber; it's more pinkish now. Check out the forehead too, it's green instead of yellow. Finally, the back, added the green coloured parts to show the "GN Particle" thingy...
